Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided for bookings and payments made at VISHALAKSHI RESIDENCY hostel.

2. Booking Cancellation Refunds

Cancellation Timing Refund Amount
More than 15 days before check-in 100% of advance (minus ₹500 processing fee)
7-15 days before check-in 75% of advance
3-7 days before check-in 50% of advance
Less than 3 days before check-in No refund

3. Security Deposit Refund

  • Security deposit is fully refundable upon checkout.
  • Deductions may be made for damages, unpaid dues, or missing items.
  • Refund is processed within 7-10 working days after checkout.
  • Room inspection is mandatory before deposit release.

4. Early Checkout

  • One month's written notice is required for early checkout.
  • If vacating without notice, one month's rent will be forfeited.
  • Pro-rata refund is not available for partial month stays.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • One-time admission/registration fees
  • Mess charges for used days
  • Laundry and additional service charges
  • Penalty charges

6. Refund Process

  • Submit refund request in writing to the hostel office.
  • Provide your bank account details for transfer.
  • Refunds are processed via bank transfer only (no cash refunds).
  • Processing time: 7-10 working days after approval.

7. Force Majeure

In case of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government orders, pandemics), a full credit note will be issued for future use, valid for 12 months.
